Our
Story.

A Costco hotdog, a gallon of cold brew, and a decision that changed everything.

Who we are

Two people.
One big leap.

Jamie, President of Fork in the Road Coffee, is a seasoned business entrepreneur who has successfully built multiple ventures across consulting, advertising, and landscaping. She knows what it takes to build something from nothing.

Jason, her husband and co-founder, is a US Army Veteran who spent years as an operations manager for a global oil and gas company in Houston, TX — running complex systems at scale before life handed him a reason to bet on himself instead.

Together, they're a rare combination: grit meets strategy, operations meets creativity, discipline meets heart.

How it began

And there we were…

It started in the strangest of times. Days after the initial COVID lockdowns of 2020, two people found each other — and to this day they still get mocked for their first date: Costco hotdogs (no affiliation or sponsorship) and an afternoon sitting in a truck, watching other shoppers do silly things, act weird, and yell at someone on the phone because they couldn't fit a sink in the backseat of a four-door sedan.

"It was a weird time — but the relationship persisted."

He won her heart with witty sarcasm and a gallon of cold-brew coffee he made and delivered to her every single week. Caffeine was in their veins. At the time, they had no idea how much it really meant, or where it would eventually take them.

They got married. The kids graduated. Jason got "restructured" out of his career. Five years passed. And then — right there in the middle of everything — they came to a fork in the road.

The decision

Tired of the dead end.
Ready for the road ahead.

Both stressed by corporate jobs that had started to feel like a ceiling rather than a path, they wanted to build something of their own. Something that mattered. Something they could do together — side by side, with real purpose.

"We bit the bullet and decided to open our own Coffee Shop on Wheels."

It wasn't a reckless decision. It was a calculated one — made by two people who had spent years watching others do extraordinary things and knew, in their bones, it was finally their turn.

They took every skill, every lesson, every late-night conversation over a fresh pot of coffee, and poured it all into Fork in the Road Coffee. A veteran-owned, family-operated mobile coffee business rooted in quality, community, and the belief that great coffee deserves to be experienced — not just consumed.
